A DECEIVING FACE
I marvel at the strength of man to accept what life throws him With hundred miles to the mind facing a lot But smiles in the face covering the sorrowful face. What a deceiving face! Like an ackee seed, so it shines when oiled Receiving thousands of praise tongues and wearing an elastic face But in a moment Peeping into the inner room and seeing waters flowing from the eyes like a river Then I know, face is deceiving. In the inner room the real face was shown Then who knows? so to console the weary soul. Like a mask and so is happiness to the face ...but heart is bleeding Who will heal this wound? No one knows because face is deceiving. And the heart is looking forward to a turn around like expectance of bridegroom. Calm, there is hope For it will come like a thief in the night And, you say goodbye to the long pain Then, that real face will glow and shines like a sun to the world. De Crown ✍🏽
